I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist having gained a Masters of Arts (MA) Degree in Clinical Counselling (graduated with distinction), from the University of Chester. This course is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical guidelines and professional standards and I am committed to anti-oppressive and anti-discriminatory practice.
I am a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA), working towards professional accreditation. I am also registered with the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO) following the completion of an approved certificate in online and telephone counselling in 2021.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

My academic research focused on perinatal mental health and pregnancy loss. Consequently I have a specific interest in this area of counselling including infertility, abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, TFMR, neonatal loss, post-natal depression and complex birth trauma.
As well as working in private practice, I work in a private fertility clinic, helping clients through the fertility journey of receiving donor sperm, eggs or embryos and dealing with loss.
